Joe Morris

Vice President Exploration

Joe Morris joined Ridgewood Energy in September 2009 as Vice President Exploration, located in Houston.

Mr. Morris has worked in the U.S. oil and gas industry since 1979. Most recently he served as Geoscience Authority for BP's Gulf of Mexico Deepwater business with responsibility for promoting and facilitating world class geoscience capability for the organization's exploration, appraisal, and development geoscientists. Mr. Morris has held several senior geoscience management positions assessing, building, and managing successful exploration and development programs for BP, Vastar Resources, Arco Oil and Gas, and small independents.

Mr. Morris received a B.S. and an M.S. in Geophysics from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
