Kent Webb
Senior Petroleum Engineer
Kent Webb joined Ridgewood Energy in November of 2008. Mr. Webb has over 20 years of technical and business experience in the U.S. oil and gas industry, primarily onshore Gulf Coast and offshore Gulf of Mexico in deepwater, shelf and inland waters. His responsibilities include engineering and economic evaluation of exploration and development opportunities, oversight of drilling and production operations, and maximizing the profitability of existing Ridgewood properties.
Prior to joining Ridgewood Energy, Mr. Webb worked for major and independent oil & gas companies including Kerr-McGee, Dominion, Forest Oil, W&T and Woodside Energy. He has held management and staff positions in Reservoir, Production, Operations, Completions and Business Analysis. Most recently, Mr. Webb held positions of Engineering Manager and Operations Manager for Woodside Energy.
Mr. Webb earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering and Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Association of American Drilling Engineers and American Petroleum Institute.
